Emily MacKillop, Ph.D.

Dr. MacKillop graduated with honors and distinction from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Psychology. She earned M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology at the State University of New York at Binghamton (Binghamton University), and completed a one-year predoctoral clinical internship at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. MacKillop completed a two-year fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Harvard Medical School. Her postgraduate training and research emphasized clinical neuropsychology.

Following training, Dr. MacKillop was a clinical faculty member of the Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia, during which time she taught neuropsychological and assessment courses and was the Associate Director of the Memory Assessment Clinic where she oversaw the operations and supervised doctoral students performing neuropsychological and psychological evaluations. In addition, she worked as a private practitioner in Athens, GA performing neuropsychological assessments with adults and providing individual psychotherapy At present, Dr. MacKillop is a Clinical Neuropsychologist at The Southeast Permanente Medical Group in Behavioral Health for Kaiser Permanente.

In addition to clinical expertise, Dr. MacKillop has co-authored a number of articles in scientific journals and has presented original neuropsychological research at national and international conferences.
